Anthony makes his Opera Syracuse debut in Verdi's Macbeth. Anthony has previously sung the role of Macbeth at the Edinburgh Festival (1997), The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden (1997 and 2002), and in Macerata (2001). R.B. Schlather directs this new production.
Performances are Friday, October 19 and Sunday, October 21, 2018.

In the 2015/16 season Mr. Michaels-Moore reprised his roles as Father Monroe and Pangle in the East Coast premiere of Cold Mountain at Opera Philadelphia. On the concert platform he appeared as a soloist with the internationally renowned Pontarddulais Male Choir in Wales. Schedule highlights in 2015/16 also included performances in London's West End as Don Carlo di Vargas in the English National Opera’s first new staging of The Force of Destiny in over 20 years, directed by Calixto Bieito.

Anthony makes his Company Debut in Cold Mountain at Opera Philadephia as Father Monroe, Pangle and one of Strobrod's fellow outliers. This will be the East Coast Premiere and is a co-commission and co-production by The Santa Fe Opera, Opera Philadelphia, and Minnesota Opera in collaboration with North Carolina Opera.

Anthony returns to the London Coliseum in ENO’s first new staging of The Force of Destiny in over 20 years directed by Calixto Bieito, who sets the production in the 1930s, during the Spanish Civil War.

At the start of the 2014/15 season Anthony made his company debut with Lyric Opera of Kansas City as Giorgio Germont in La traviata. The Baritone then returned to Opera Pittsburgh as Iago in Otello. A regular at The English National Opera, Mr. Michaels-Moore next appeared as Giorgio Germont in Peter Konwitschny's acclaimed production of Verdi's La traviata. Finally, he topped off the 14/15 season in 2 new works: first, he made an exciting return to Teatro alla Scala, starring in the world premiere of Giorgio Battistelli's C02, based on Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth. Michaels-Moore created the main role of climatologist Dr. David Adamson in a production directed by Robert Carsen. Then, in Summer 2015, Mr. Michaels-Moore returned to The Santa Fe Opera in the highly-anticipated world premiere of Cold Mountain by the Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Jennifer Higdon.

Anthony returns to Milan's famed Teatro alla Scala in the World Premiere of Giorgio Battistelli's C02, based on Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth. The work is part of the 2015 Arts Expo and is directed by Robert Carson.
